Oppo's new Telephoto accessory shown off
More details are starting to emerge about the next generation of the Oppo Find X9 and today is no different as we have just seen images of the new camera accessory in the form of the Oppo Hasselblad Professional Teleconverter Kit. This will allow you to add an pro grade telephoto lens on the back of you phone. This is similar to what we saw with the Vivo X200 Ultra earlier this year.
This new add on will fit on the back of the phone via an attachment plate that clips onto the phones frame over the lens. It will allow you extend the 70mm telephoto lens of the phone will go all the way up to 230mm.
The Oppo Find X9 Pro will feature a substantial 7,500mAh battery, while the smaller Find X9 will have a 7,025mAh power cell.
The X9 Pro will weigh 224g, compared to the 203g of the vanilla X9 and its 7.99mm thickness. Notably, the two models have different screen sizes: the Pro boasts a larger 6.78” panel, while the vanilla model will have a 6.69” screen.
The entire X9 series will feature flat displays with the thinnest screen bezels yet – equal on all sides (unconfirmed information suggests they will measure 1.1mm).
Furthermore, the phones will come pre-installed with ColorOS 16, which includes native support for Apple devices.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset powers the phone, which features a 50 MP main camera with Sony’s Lytia LYT-828 sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL HP5 sensor. Despite its impressive camera capabilities, the phone is slim at 8.25mm and has a substantial 7,500 mAh battery. It launches on October 16, coinciding with the Find X9, running ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
