Huawei MateBook Fold: A New Standard in Foldable Computing

The Huawei MateBook Fold redefines portable productivity with an ultra-lightweight design, weighing just 1.16 kg. When unfolded, it measures a sleek 7.3 mm in thickness, and 14.9 mm when  olded. At the core of its innovative design is a custom-engineered waterdrop hinge tailored for foldable devices, enabling smooth angle adjustments between 30° and 150°. An integrated kickstand supports convenient use in landscape mode, enhancing its versatility for both work and entertainment.

The MateBook Fold is equipped with 32 GB of RAM and offers storage configurations of either 1 TB or 2 TB SSD. While Huawei has not officially disclosed the processor, it is expected to feature an in-house Kirin chipset, consistent with the brand’s other recent MateBook models.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, and two USB-C ports. Additional features comprise a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button, an 8 MP front-facing camera, six speakers, and four microphones—ensuring a rich audio-visual experience for video calls and media consumption.

Powering the device is a 74.69 Wh battery, providing ample endurance to meet the demands of professional and creative users alike.
