MWC Day 3 part 2

Lets now get stuck into MWC an all tech goodies inside!

11.25 am

I have arrived at MWC 26 and it is time for me to get stuck in with checking out what the booths have on show. With Mike and James still on their way it was time for a quick stop by at our friends at Mediatek for a quick caffeine hit after all I have had a quite data intense morning. 

I then swung by the Google Village to get my First Android pin from this year's event. I didn't hang around by Google too long as Mike had just advised me of his and James imminent arrival.

The Average Dad team have been reunited and it is time to check out some of the booth showing their latest developments. We head into Hall 3 first and it is here we bump into Daruisz, (Dariusz Tech) a fellow vlogger am friend of the channel and store. With him guiding the way we make our first stop at Nothing  Phone who have unveiled the Nothing Phone 4A in four gorgeous colours, Blue Pink White and Black.

I am leaning towards the Blue as my favourite but what do I know!

 

Next stop was Qualcomm has they had quite a cool stand generally. We also went in to Mediatek where james had a play with the Vivo X300 Ultra and rather large camera rig!

After a quick bite too eat we delved into the world of the rugged devices and the game of finding the phone with the biggest battery I believe I may have won with the Oukitel projector phone that featured a 33000mah battery on board! These may feature in  Mikes day 3 Vlog

Next stop was to go and visit Tecno. I had previously crossed paths with the brand last year at IFA last September and was very impressed with their line up so wanted to show Mike and James what they have to offer. It turns out that they have a lot going on including this very cool Trifold concept.

The also have a new modular phone that will allow you add extra Camera modules battery pack etc onto the phone therefore expanding it utility. Sadly i didn't manage to get any pictures of this though. Mike and James spend a bit more time here doing some of the all important networking with the PR team whilst I had to run back to the other end of the building for my Lenovo Booth tour.

15:00 pm 

After leaving Mike and James looking at phones that charge underwater at Tecno, I have now arrived at Lenovo for a tour of their booth. I currently have got a Motorola Signature in for review and I was invited to check out what else they have announced recently most importantly the Razer Fold.

Whilst will be covering this more in depth in another article the TLDR is Motorola area bit behind the competition but for their first entry into the Book Style fold market it is a solid effort we just have to hope they don't price themselves out of the market.

We also had the chance to look at the other tech that was being launched including there very cool laptops with expandable screens.We also had a bit of a run down of Moto's new AI agent which is called Qira and as per the Qualcomm sessions I had this morning this is cross platform on Mobile, Tablet and Windows it will be built in and works on the device the demo looked like it could be useful but need to try it in the real world to really see.

As a side note it does not seem to be present on my Motorola Signature.

Whilst I was on my booth tour my phone was blowing up as I had been working on gaining access to my next event which was kicking off at 5pm. This meant that i had to run PDQ to catch bus to the venue which brought a close to the activities of the day. Sadly you will have wait a little longer too here more about this one as it is all hush under emabargo for now.

19:30 pm

I joined up with the boys again at the base AirBNB for the Members giveaway live stream and exchange some notes from the day.

With that done the day came to an end.

It is also the end of my time in Barcelona this year and the end of this series of Diary entries. I hope you have enjoyed these entries and they have given you an insight into the lives of a blogginteam when on site at these events.
