Moto Edge 70 teaser campaign has begun

We previously reported here that Motorola were intending on releasing their competitor to the Samsung S25 Edge and the iPhone Air and today we have had a little bit more to confirm this.

Yesterday evening I received the first email of a teaser campaign that was asking readers to take part in a quiz to reveal a discount code that can be used upon purchase.of the new Moto phone. In this campaign we were able to learn that the international version of the device will be given the name of Edge which would indicate that the full product name.is likely to be Moto Edge 70 on the international markets. We were also treated a bit more information about the battery capacity which will be a 4800 mAh Silicone carbon design.

We already know from the Qualcomm event that this device will sue the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset and that it will be very thin with rumours indicating an overall thickness (excluding cameras) of leas than 6mm. It also looks like it will come in the Pantone Green colour way as one of the options.

The teaser campaign promises too release more information every Wednesday until the launch event that is due to take place on the 5th of November.

We have already reached out to Motorola for further comment and will bring updates as and when we can on Thai developing device as soon as we can.

If this uses a similar Moto UI Skin that was used on the Moto G86 Power that I reviewed then this could be a great alternative to the Galaxy S25 Edge or the iPhone Air. I for one am looking forward to finding out more about this phone.
