Honor Magic8 Lite battery size confirmed!
Today we have had another tease from Honor about the upcoming Magic 8 Lite phone that is due to be released soon.This time around, we have details on the battery capacity, and it is looking very impressive, to say the least.
Let's dive right into what we have been told.
The battery that will be featured in the Magic 8 Lite will be a massive cell at 7500mAh of usable capacity. Having used other devices recently with that size of battery, this looks like the phone will be good for, at the bare minimum, 2 days of real-world usage.
That is based on using a competitor's device with the same battery size, but that phone also featured a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset.
With the Honor Magic8 Lite being a more budget-focused offering (going by the naming scheme), I would not expect it to be rocking the same Chipset, but something a little lower down the rung. Based on this, I wouldn't be surprised if the phone will live up to Honor's claim of the phone being a 3-day battery in certain conditions.
Of course, the battery is going to be based on silicone carbon for the design and will therefore be able to charge very fast at 66W. We have not been provided with the 0 to 100% charge rate yet, but I would expect it to be quite good, given the tech involved.

Today, HONOR has released further teasing information surrounding the size and capabilities of the Magic8 Lite’s ultra-large 7500mAh silicon-carbon battery, which will allow for an incredible 3-days of battery life.
The test data shows that the device can stand up to 52.5 hours of music streaming, 23.8 hours of online video playback, 16.8 hours of gaming and 12.3 hours of video chat on one single charge. Meanwhile, the HONOR Magic8 Lite can even support reverse charging as a portable power bank with 7.5W wired charge.
With multi-point temperature monitoring, the battery performs well in temperatures from -30°C to 55°C Additionally, the ultra-power saving mode enables the device to maintain continuous calls for up to 60 minutes when the battery drops to 2%, while the 66W wired HONOR SuperCharge can rapidly revive the battery for extended usage.
