Honor Magic V6 Leaks: Is This the New King of Foldable Charging?
Garry Clark
The highly anticipated Honor Magic V6 is inching closer to launch, and it’s already stacking up some seriously impressive certifications. The latest buzz comes from China’s 3C authority, and if the rumors are true, we’re looking at what might be the fastest charging speeds ever seen on a foldable phone.
Double the Models, Double the Power
Two versions of the upcoming device—model numbers PNM-AN10 and PNM-AN20—just popped up on the 3C platform. While the first is likely the standard Magic V6, the second is rumored to be the "Beidou Edition," which adds satellite messaging into the mix.
The headline feature? Both models reportedly support 120W fast charging. That’s a massive jump and a total game-changer for the foldable market, where charging speeds usually lag behind traditional flagships. We also got a peek at an internal codename: "Phenom." Honestly, with these specs, the name fits!

Battery Life That Won’t Quit
Last month’s filings gave us a glimpse under the hood at the battery tech, and it’s looking beefy:
The Top-End Variant: Expected to rock a massive 7,150mAh typical capacity. we expect this to be the Chinese version
The Standard Variant: Likely coming in with a still-impressive 6,850mAh capacity. This is expected to be the Global version
What Else is Under the Hood?
The Magic V6 isn't just about fast charging; it’s shaping up to be a true powerhouse. It’s rumored to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and will finally include wireless charging.
For the photography fans, the current engineering prototype features a 200-megapixel main camera and a 3x optical zoom periscope lens. You can also expect:
A sleek fiberglass build with water and dust resistance.
A side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick unlocks.
An even thinner profile than the previous generation.
Style & Portability
When it drops, you’ll likely have four colors to choose from: Snow White, Velvet Black, Red Hare, and Sunrise Gold. To put the size into perspective, the last model was already incredibly thin (around 4.2mm unfolded and 9mm folded). If Honor manages to pack a bigger battery and 120W charging into an even slimmer frame, the Magic V6 is going to be a tough one for the competition to beat.
We will be on the ground when the launch of this device happens and will bring you all the latest new as it happens.
